The Best Robot Vacuum That Mops
Noah Pinsonnault works as a product analyst for Good Housekeeping's Home Care and Cleaning Lab.
He evaluates and tests cleaning equipment, with a focus on robot vacuums and mopping combos. Multitaskers are a great option for those looking to cross mopping off the to-do list. Some of them have excellent navigation and obstacle avoidance. Some even wash and refill mopping pads themselves to ensure a hands-free clean.
The Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking to buy a robot vacuum that also mops then this is the model to look for. It's smaller than the other models on this list, which makes it easier to maneuver into tight corners and underneath furniture. It comes with a 220 degree Lidar that, combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, offers some of the best navigation and avoidance capabilities I've seen in a robotic vacuum. It's powered by a 4600mAh battery that can last up to 170 minutes when mopping and sucking are set to standard mode. (It can be more efficient when using turbo). It will even return to its dock to replenish its battery mid-clean.
It's very fast and does a fantastic job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It is able to vacuum carpeted rooms quickly, and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room and hallways in just one sweep. Its 8,000pa suction motor makes short work of picking up dirt, droppings and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically increases power when it detects carpets, and the dual side brush helps to remove debris from corners.
The mopping efficiency, while still impressive, is not as good. The rotating mop spins at a high speed and it pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, easily scraping away dirt and staining. I've noticed that the front arm extends out a little more than other robots. This is helpful when getting into difficult corners or on baseboards. The same front arms can be used to clean larger pieces of debris, such as broken toys and books.
The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mop and vacuums I've tried. It is quieter and doesn't make as much noise when mopping or vacuuming. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it needs to use a mopping solution that is proprietary and is sold separately. It is easy to set up and works well. However, if you are buying this vacuum solely to mop, you will need to be aware of this.
The Roborock Q Revo
The Q Revo stands apart from most robot vacuums that mops in its class. It comes with a wide array of features that make it an ideal option for homeowners looking for an extremely efficient, flexible, and customizable cleaning machine.
The device is equipped with an efficient cleaning system that integrates LiDAR sensor technology with an RGB camera. This enables it to map out your home, detect furniture and other obstacles. It then uses this information to clean effectively and intelligently. This results in an efficient, consistent clean that's also fairly quick.
In terms of mopping, Q Revo's DuoRoller mop pads can reach an array of surfaces. This includes corners, baseboards and other hard to reach areas. The side brush can be stretched out to reach the floor close to the walls and other fixtures. In addition the mop pads are able to be cleaned and dried to prevent build-up and reduce the odors.
Another noteworthy feature is the app-based customization options. The Q Revo lets you adjust the suction level and select either a back-and-forth or a random pattern. You can also adjust the number of passes it should make, which will determine the speed at which the device can traverse your home. You can also turn off the side brush to prevent damage to carpets and carpets.
The device is costly, but has many smart features. It is important to keep in mind that the device will incur regular expenses, such as mopping supplies as well as regular maintenance. For example the brushroll should be replaced every six to 12 months or after 300 hours. The filter must be cleaned after 150 hours, and the mop pad needs to be replaced every three to six months.
This robot vacuum mop has an excellent Amazon rating and comes with a wide range of physical automation features. The vacuum also has an energy button that doubles as a 'Clean' button' and a Home' button to send it home after cleaning. It also comes with a multi-functional dock that automatically empty the trash bin and refills its water tank for mopping and washes and dries its mop pads.
The Shark Matrix Plus
The Shark Matrix Plus will be the ideal option for busy professionals or anyone who wants to keep their home tidy without spending too much time on chores. It is a powerful machine with smart navigation, and a long battery life that makes it simple to keep your home tidy with minimal effort.
The Matrix Plus is a 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop which means it is able to handle mopping and vacuuming. The robot is divided into two components that include a dry bin as well as a water tank that can be snapped out and in and a mopping module which is equipped with a microfiber pad. Separate modules for mopping and vacuuming might seem a bit outdated, but they do mean that you don't need to worry about changing bags for disposables or refilling the tank with water.
The Matrix Plus performed well at both vacuuming and mopping. Its most impressive feature was its accurate map of your floorplan that it uses to create the path to follow when cleaning. The Matrix Plus was able to navigate effortlessly through rugs, furniture and other obstacles. The app also gives you the option of setting "No-Go zones" and virtual barriers that help to shield certain areas of your house from being cleaned with mop.
The Matrix Plus also did a amazing job of picking up hair of pets. It was able to collect a large amount of hair our cats shed and even got into the nooks and crannys of our stairs, where other robots struggled. It was relatively quiet and even had some nice jingles that let you know when it was about to start or completing its task.
The biggest flaws were its simplistic app and the necessity to swap out the modules whenever switching between mopping and vacuuming. The app doesn't have the capacity to hold multiple maps, which can be a problem for homes with a mix of floors. The Matrix Plus is a good option for those looking for a smart robot that is capable of vacuuming and mopping.
The Yiko X1 Omni
The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that can be found in our review, however it also has distinctive features that are worth considering. The X1 Omni is most notable for its massive dock that doubles as a charging base for the robot, a sink for cleaning and two water tanks of 4 liters. automatic vacuum houses the 2.5-liter dust bin and an 2.5 dust bin that is 2.5 liters.
The base also has a variety of buttons to control the system. These allow you to start a cleaning task or recall the robot or start the dock's auto-emptying process. Hold down two buttons to toggle the child lock. This is a nice feature for parents who are worried about their children playing with the vacuum.

The X1 Omni like other robotic vacuums uses its camera to detect furniture and obstacles in its path. It will stay clear of them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system maps your home 10 times faster than standard laser detection systems and is four times more precise in recognising objects.
The X1 can be prone to become stuck if it gets caught in a hazard like a power cable draped over a rug. It won't function until you remove it manually. While it was not common however, it was a gruelling experience when it did happen particularly since the X1 Omni does not come with a "stuck" status alert in its application.
Another potential downside is one of the biggest drawbacks is X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming modes during cleaning. You will need to manually swap between the two, which isn't a big deal apart from the fact that mopping pads aren't cleaned and dried between uses which could lead to mildew or mold.
The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame), who created its sleek, modern base and mopping pad. It's a big departure from the utilitarian, black bases of competitors like Roborock and iRobot, and a welcome appearance in a market that is dominated by bulky boxes and clunky models.
